Dear Subscribers,

Since 1991 I have put out a quality magazine with excellent parrot information. First as the Pet Bird Report, then the Companion Parrot Quarterly and finally the Companion Parrot Online Magazine. I have tried to make a go of the Companion Parrot Online Magazine but as I have gotten older I have less energy and it has become difficult to continue producing the kind of quality magazine that i want to. Advertising is impossible to get and, of course, subscriptions continue to decline. It seems as if most people really aren't interested any longer and want to get most of their information off of the Internet - whether they can trust the information or not. Some of the statements I read on the Internet continue to appall me because they have so little basis in proper care and understanding of parrots. Feedback is an essential part of providing information to people but it was rare for me to receive any comments on the publication - positive or negative.

There are varying degrees of value left in your subscriptions. There are two ways I can give you that value. 1. The Online Magazine started with Issue #72 and I can send you as many of the issues that you haven't received. 2. I can also send you your value in my Parrots Made E-Z .pdf Publications.

Please contact me at: staff@companionparrot.com. If you don't know how many issues you have left and their value, I can check the database and let you know so you can choose whether you want Companion Parrot Online back issues or Parrots Made E-Z .pdfs to give you the value of your subscription.  I hope you will understand. It may take me awhile to make this good for everyone who contacts me but I will do my best.

I will continue to do the FREE Companion Parrot Newsletter and you will remain on the database to get this publication. Of course, I have to support this FREE publication with promotion of my books, .pdfs, and artwork but the newsletter will always have articles and interesting parrot information for those that appreciate it. I will also continue adding new information to the Companion Parrot Website https://companionparrotonline.com

Thank you for your understanding,

Sally B
